"As a PsyD student from The California Professional School of Psychology, I was at The Link to Children (TLC) for my third year practicum placement. I was seeking a placement that would provide me with both testing/assessment and therapy experience with children. The unique training opportunity provided by TLCs practicum placement fulfilled these goals and more. The supervision and seminars were of a very high quality and are extremely relevant to the clinical work. I feel that the clinical experience, training and supervision I gained while working with young children during my training year at TLC hugely contributed to my ability to subsequently be accepted into high quality pre and postdoc internships. My experience at TLC was the beginning of what is now part of my specialty as an early career psychologist working with and assessing young children with atypical development."
