Volunteer Support
There is a variety of ways for individuals in the community to volunteer for The Link to Children (TLC), Inc.:

  • By serving on the Board of Directors or Advisory Board, members provide direction to the agency and act as liaisons to the community.
  • By giving in kind donations of equipment or technical assistance.
  • By underwriting our newsletter or fundraising events.
  • By donating goods or services for fundraising purposes.
  • By volunteering to care for the children in KidZone. KidZone is a therapeutic drop in childcare center at the Alameda County Family Justice Center, a one stop service center for women escaping domestic violence. The volunteers in KidZone use play to heal. There are also opportunities to volunteer in other capacities at the Alameda County Family Justice Center. If you are interested in learning more contact our KidZone Director at 510-267-8836.
